Dr. Shams Moopen is an accomplished dental professional with a rich academic background and diverse qualifications. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1981, laying the foundation for his successful career. Dr. Moopen’s pursuit of excellence led him to acquire various esteemed credentials over the years.

Dr. Moopen holds master’s degrees in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. He completed his master’s degree in Orthodontics (MSc Orthodontics) from thw world famous Royal London Hospital, Barts NHS Health Trust, London, UK (University of London). He did his master’s degree in Pediatric Dentistry (MDS Paediatric Dentistry) from the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Dental Education & Research in Chandigarh, India (PGIMER).

Since then, he has taken Memberships & Fellowships from the Royal Colleges of England, Edinburgh & Ireland. He was the recipient of David DiBias Clinical Excellence Award for the best finished orthodontic cases from the Royal London Hospital, London, UK. He also received the M.Orth clinical case award from the British Orthodontic Society.

Dr. Moopen is in the General Dental Council’s (GDC, UK) Specialist List for Orthodontics. He had his own clinics in Dubai and India. He was also Head of Department and Professor of Child Dental Health at University of Mangalore, India. He was also the Associate Course Director of the Diploma in Orthodontics conducted by the Royal College of Surgeons, England. He is also examiner for the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Faculties (MJDF) conducted by the Royal College of England. He is an invited speaker for many International Conferences.
